OUR STORY

Queen City Beverage was started by Leo and Maxine Braun in 1961. One couple, one truck, a rented warehouse, and the willingness to work hard selling a handfull of beer brands. This was the beginning of our journey.

1967

A new warehouse was built in rural North Dickinson. By this time, 3 employees had joined the Queen City Beverage team!

Leo was not only making his mark in SW ND, but also the beer industry as a whole. Serving on the board of the National Beer Wholesalers and President of ND Beer Wholesalers.

1991

Queen City Beverage purchases the inventory of ER Kennedy Co. and becomes Candy/ Tobacco Wholesaler  

2002

Kevin and Curt Braun purchased Queen City Beverage and Candy. They began doing business as Braun Distributing.

2006

​Braun Distributing moved into our current facility. The facility features both climate controlled and freezer storage, along with ample storage space.

2014

Kevin Braun becomes sole owner of Braun Distributing.
